The value for money at Artea Aix Centre was excellent, with a newly renovated and airy room that provided great comfort. The location was perfect, close to the old town and cultural venues, and the staff treated us with exceptional friendliness and helpfulness.
The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety or options.

This is a fabulous hotel, with large, spacious, tiled rooms, effective air-conditioning, copious breakfasts for 10euros and a great location (including parking a block away for 10 euros/a day if reserved in advance). The personnel is affable and helpful. I forgot my purse in the breakfast room one morning, but found it, of course, at the reception desk, intact. You can feel secure at this hotel.

The hotel is in the great location - just one block from the city center. There is a underground parking near by. We liked the hotel design, the furniture looked really cool. Also the building is old and very nice inside. We ordered a room for 3 and get really great room, consisting of two rooms, one with two single beds and one huge with double bad. So the hotel offers enough space to not feel packed in a room for three adults. There are also enough mirrors in the room for everyone. This hotel is a great deal in Aix and was the best hotel (though not the most expensive) during our Provence trip. Too bad it's not much to see in Aix and our schedule was tense - otherwise we would definitely stay longer in that lovely hotel.

All in all our stay was very nice, nothing too much trouble. The hotel was charming small and fairly clean, it had very good wi-fi, its location was awesome close to the nice center of town. The staff were all very kind and provided impeccable service.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from the bus station and right in the heart of the town. It was very convenient to explore the surrounding areas. the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to assist with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs, which was greatly appreciated. - One more advantage that I enjoyed was the comfortable bed and the functioning AC. the bed provided a great night's sleep and the AC kept the room cool and comfortable.
The hotel could benefit from some modernization, particularly in terms of the air conditioning system. During the hot summer days, the noise from the AC unit made it difficult to use and had to be turned off.

Location was very good! Because the hotel is not right in the middle of the downtown area, it isn't noisy. Rooms were clean and comfy.
The hallways may look old and there's no elevator!! The quadruple room we got was furnished weirdly. There seemed to be an old kitchenette area in the room that was left empty without any furniture. While it was odd and it gave us an initial shabby impression, the main portions of the room were properly furnished.

Wonderful, accommodating staff, a large clean room, great location, good soundproofing and air-conditioning, delicious breakfast; parking nearby for a reasonable fee.
I would have liked an option for a less expensive, less copious breakfast. I didn't like getting blocked in the garage by a parked car but appreciated the manager's quick response to get us out,

The room was very spacious for a European hotel. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was extremely helpful and willing to call and book our dinner reservations, reserve a taxi, whatever we needed. The hotel is in a perfect location: steps away from the fountain and all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Aix. We had a lovely dinner at Ze Bistro, which was within easy walking distance and highly recommended.
The keys are attached to key chains that literally feel like iron door handles. They are huge! However, they will keep them at the front desk for you while you are out and about if you don't want to carry them around.

The hotel is very close to the centre; it is on a busy road but as our room faced a side street it wasn't noisy. Staff were very friendly.
The photos on the website give the impression that the rooms are very modern, which wasn't the case with our room. It wasn't a bad room though - basic with little decor but clean a spacious. It is recommended to book a parking space in advance as parking is limited. No lift.

The hotel is in an amazing historic building that is located very close to the centre and a popular shopping mall. the rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom, but unfortunately, the noise insulation is not great. the hotel provides a small fridge in the room which is a nice advantage, and the staff is friendly and helpful. the breakfast is a bit pricey at 13€, as there are cheaper alternatives nearby.
The elevator situation can be challenging with heavy luggage, as it only goes up to the first floor.
